Diagnosis, not guesswork
Most "damp" is misdiagnosed. A free survey from a damp-proofing firm has one answer ready before they arrive — injection and replastering — because that's what they sell. We come at it the other way: comparative moisture readings, thermal imaging, dew-point and ventilation assessment to work out what's actually happening, whether that's condensation, a penetrating defect, a leak, a bridged DPC, or genuine rising damp (which is far rarer than the industry implies).
Every diagnosis is written up clearly, with the evidence behind it and plain-English recommendations. We never blame the tenant's lifestyle as a default, and we never recommend works we'd profit from — because we don't do works at all.
